OFFICERS:

John W. King, Chairperson

John has an extensive history of service to the community and is the CEO of 31 Views Marketing, a marketing consultancy and services firm in the greater Flemington area. In addition to his duties as a Trustee of the Board of Directors for the Center for Educational Advancement, John serves on the Board of HART (the Hunterdon Area's Transportation Management Authority) and is a volunteer serving on the YMCA of Hunterdon's Marketing and Public Relations Committee.

John returned to New Jersey, the state of his childhood, in 1993. Since that time, he has served as the Chairman of the Raritan Township Environmental Commission, became the founding Vice Chairman of the Open Space Advisory Committee and was subsequently the Mayor's appointee to the Township Planning Board.

John currently serves as a Member of the Hunterdon County Board of chosen Freeholders.  Previously he was an elected official on the Raritan Township Committee from 2007-2012, serving as Mayor in 2008 and 2011 and as Deputy Mayor in both 2007 and 2009. He is known as a “hands-on” fiscal conservative whose policies shape the quality of family life, efficient government and free-market economics.

John holds a Master of Management Science from Stevens Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Delaware. He is married with two sons, one of whom is a former Marine Sergeant now attending Monmouth University, and his brother is a graduate of York College of PA and is currently a Lieutenant in the National Guard.

John’s interests include public leadership, motorcycling, golf, and water sports.

Andrew Sontag, Vice Chairperson

A graduate of Northeastern University, Andy resides in Hunterdon County with his wife Marianna and their two children. Andy is the Vice President of Sales at Virtuit Systems, a specialized technology systems integrator based in Nanuet, NY, with branch offices in Clinton, NJ and San Francisco, CA. Andy’s background includes over 25 years of leadership experience in sales management and sales operations for industry leaders such as ADP and EMC.

He has served on the CEA board since May 2008, was Board Secretary from 2009-2011 and is currently Vice Chairperson.

Paul Mahoney, Treasurer

Paul has been on the CEA Board of Trustees since April of 2008. In July 2010, he was elected to Treasurer, and is currently serving in that role. Paul’s background is in supply chain, logistics and operations management, industrial engineering, project management and material handling consulting. He is currently employed as the Supply Chain Director for Brighton Cromwell, a defense contracting firm in Northern New Jersey.

After graduating from the United States Military Academy in 1984, Paul served on active duty and reserve status for 11 years in the Army Field Artillery, and was both Airborne and Ranger qualified. During his 25 year career in the civilian sector, Paul has been the designer and project manager for numerous new distribution facility openings for companies that include M&M Mars, Verizon, JVC Electronics, and Tiffany
& Co. 

Paul and his wife, Ghislaine, have been married since 1986 and have two sons, Sean and Patrick, and a daughter Caroline.

Robbie Lombardi, Secretary

Robbie joined the CEA Board of Directors in March 2010, and has served as Secretary since 2011. She worked for Johnson & Johnson for 24 years, and is currently Manager of Promotional Review Services at Janssen Biotech Inc. Robbie has a passion for fund-raising for cancer charities, including Susan G. Komen for the Cure and the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of New Jersey. She has also volunteered for St. Magdalen de Pazzi Catholic Church and the organization Girls on the Run.

Robbie has a teenage son, and has lived with her husband in Raritan Township for 25 years. In her spare time she enjoys reading, running and cooking.

PRESIDENT & CEO:

Michael Skoczek, President & CEO

Michael’s career at Center for Educational Advancement (CEA) began in October 1993, when he held the role of Retail Sales Manager for the on-site retail store. He was promoted to Director of Sales and Marketing for the Packaging Group in 1995, and continued to advance in the company when he became Vice President of the Packaging and Products Group in 2000. From July 2004 on, Michael has been President & CEO of CEA, guiding the business operation of all aspects of the organization – manufacturing, education and human services.

Prior to joining CEA, Michael spent several years working in the shipping and freight forwarding industry in New York and New Jersey, as an analyst of macroeconomic data and then as a member of store, district and national management within the retail industry. He has a BA in Economics from Fairleigh-Dickinson University and received his MA in Economics from the University of New Hampshire. Michael lives in Parsippany, New Jersey with his wife Kelley.

TRUSTEES:

Michael Collins

Mike is a Senior Investment Officer with Prudential Financial in Newark, New Jersey. He manages fixed income portfolios for Prudential and its clients. Prior to his current role, Mike was Senior Investment Strategist, covering all fixed income sectors, focusing on portfolio management, risk management, quantitative research, and product development. He has also held positions as a research analyst. His career at Prudential began in 1986 as a software applications designer. Mike received a BS in Mathematics and Computer Science from Binghamton University and an MBA in Finance from New York University. Mike holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation and is a member of the New York Society of Securities Analysts (NYSSA) and a Fellow of the Life Management Institute (FLMI).

An avid sports enthusiast who enjoys playing golf and tennis, Mike has lived in Lebanon Township, New Jersey, with his wife, Karen and their three children since 1995.

Mike has served on the Board of Trustees for the CEA since 2002. At various times during his tenure, he has served as Chairperson, Treasurer, and Secretary and is a member of the Finance Committee and Human Resources/Board Development Committee.

Robert Love

Bob has been a valued member of the Center for Educational Advancement Board of Trustees since November 2004. He is a past Chairperson and Treasurer, a member of several Board committees and has also actively participated in several business improvement and finance-based working groups.

He began his career in public accounting at Coopers and Lybrand, then moved to the life science industry where he has over 30 years of pharmaceutical industry experience. While working at SmithKline Beecham, Bob held several senior management positions, including Vice President and Director, Strategic Product Development and Vice President, CFO in the UK. Bob also served as Senior Vice President, Business Partnering and Senior Vice President, Finance and Acquisitions at Quintiles Transnational Corporation.

Bob is currently Vice President and CFO, Elusys Therapeutics, a privately held Biopharmaceutical company. Bob is a graduate of Rutgers University with a BA in Accounting. Bob also holds an MBA from Villanova University and is a Certified Public Accountant.

Nadine Maleski, L.L.C.

Nadine has served on the board of Trustees for CEA since 2011. Active in the Race with the Balloons, the Turkey Trot and the Annual Dinner Dance, she practices law locally, specializing in complex Family Law matters, in the collaborative context, mediation, arbitration and litigation. She is certified by the New Jersey Supreme Court and was selected as a Super Lawyer and Top Attorney in New Jersey. Nadine has practiced law in New Jersey since 1986, initially a trial attorney as an Essex county Public Defender, a Certified Civil Trial Attorney handling medical malpractice, commercial, Tort Claims, FELA, and other civil matters.

Nadine also taught trial practice at Seton Hall Law School for six years as an adjunct professor, and served as a partner and practice group leader at McElroy, Deutsch, Mulvaney and Carpenter, LLP until she opened her firm in Flemington in 2003. Recently she served four years on the Vicinage Ethics Committee, the last year as Chair. She enjoys stage performance, scuba diving, golf, and traveling with a purpose, such as the 2010 People to People American Bar Association Delegation to Vietnam and Cambodia to dialogue on the world-wide practice of Family Law.

John Reardon

John joined the CEA Board of Trustees in 2002. During his tenure he has served as Vice Chair of the Executive Committee and currently chairs the Human Resources/Board Development Committee.

John retired from Johnson & Johnson after 37 years, where he held positions in Sales and Marketing, Human Resources, and Health Care Compliance. Currently John serves as Vice President for Independent Commercial Compliance. John received a BS in Business Administration from Central Connecticut State University, and has lived in Flemington with his wife Susan since 1980.

Paul Staudt, Jr. R.A.

A New Jersey native, Paul resides in Readington Township. The Staudts had been married for 50 years, have four children and six grandchildren. They had also provided pre-adoptive care for 25 infant foster children over the course of 25 years. Throughout their married life, Paul and his late wife Ann had been involved in many outreach activities including promoting family life, marriage preparation, religious education, marriage enhancement, Compassionate Friends and counseling.

Paul, a registered architect by profession, also was an Officer in the US Army Air Defense Artillery and served in Korea and California. He practiced architecture in Bergen County for 15 years prior to accepting a position with the State in 1978. He held the position of the State Architect for New Jersey for ten years prior to his retirement in 2002. Paul has been actively involved with CEA since 1996.

Robert 'Bob' Ebner

Bob has been on the Board of Trustees at CEA since 2008. He was introduced to CEA by his daughter, Jane, who is a young lady with special needs, and a proud graduate of CEA’s Spring Run School.

Bob, an avid golfer, is a graduate of Georgetown University, with a BA in Economics. He is employed as Vice President of Sales at Premier Woodcraft Ltd., a custom architectural woodwork company. Bob is also a baseball hitting instructor at Branchburg Sports Complex, and volunteers as a youth baseball and basketball coach. 

Pam Sanquini

Pam, a 20 year resident of Raritan Township and has served on the Board of Directors at CEA over the past 15 years.  She first joined the CEA Board in April of 1996.  Pam has a passion for community service and is also a member of the Board at Hunterdon Prevention Resources, which is another Flemington based non- profit organization that supports drug and alcohol prevention in the community. 
In addition, Pam is an avid blood donor and has donated over 10 gallons of whole blood and platelets during her lifetime.

With over 30 years of business experience within the Johnson & Johnson Family of Companies, Pam began her career at J&J in 1980.  Pam is currently a Procurement Specialist based at Johnson & Johnson Healthcare Systems, Inc., located in Piscataway, NJ.

Pam lives with her daughter, Erin and their two toy poodles, Biff and Neon.
