ORGANIZATIONAL EMPLOYMENT SERVICES/EXTENDED EMPLOYMENT
Some individuals are motivated to work but may benefit from an ongoing supportive setting. At CEA, individuals are able to hold long term jobs in packaging/assembly and food service, working at their own level. They have the satisfaction of receiving a regular paycheck, often working on packaging products that they regularly see in the community. CEA provides an integrated work setting where workers with disabilities and workers hired through traditional means are often working side by side.
All participants of the Extended Employment Program have Individual Rehabilitation Plans. Readiness for community employment is regularly reviewed, and when ready, participants can become involved in the Placement Incentive Program. This program assists individuals in work readiness by first giving them a chance to work with a job coach on a trial basis, with the possibility of moving into a permanent job.
The EE Program receives funding through the NJ Division of Vocational Rehabilitation Services and NJ Division of Developmental Disabilities.
